Dear Friend,

I'm sending this email to tell you about Dr. Rob Steele.

Rob is running for Congress in Michigan's 15th Congressional District against Congressman John Dingell. I am supporting Dr. Steele in this race because I believe he can defeat Dingell and will be an outstanding representative for us in Congress. His priorities are: Stopping the out-of control spending in Congress and demanding accountability and transparency in government. Rob Steele believes it’s time to put an end to back-room deals by career politicians and make them live by the same laws they pass for the rest of the country.

Congressman Dingell is currently the longest serving member of Congress and is seeking a 29th term. I believe that it is time to bring a positive change and new leadership to the 15th District. Dr. Steele is an interventional cardiologist, founding member of Michigan Heart PC, where he has served many years on the Board of Directors. He also chairs the Finance and Benefits Committees for the practice that has now grown to include 36 physicians and 300 employees, with 7 permanent and 2 satellite offices in 5 counties. He has previously served on the Board of Directors of a large non profit managed care organization, and various medical staff, and physician organization committees. A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, he has received advanced certification in Echocardiography and Interventional Cardiology, and has performed more than 15,000 cardiac catheterization procedures. He is a lifetime member of both the National Motorist Association and NRA, and current member of the Washtenaw Sportsman Club.

Dr. Rob Steele will be a strong conservative leader in Congress. To learn more about Rob, visit http://www.robsteeleforcongress.com or follow him on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/robsteeleforcongress. I think you will see that Dr. Steele is the kind of person we can be proud to support.

I hope you'll join me in voting for Dr. Rob Steele on November 2, 2010.

Health care reform is another important issue for the Ann Arbor cardiologist.

"We work off the Hippocratic Oath: Do no harm. And unfortunately, this bill does a lot of harm," Steele said, referring to President Barack Obama's new health care reform bill.

Steele said he'd work to repeal what has been dubbed "Obamacare" - and rebuild it.
